John Weaver is of counsel with Maloney, Bean, Horn & Hull, P.C. He concentrates his practice in appellate and insurance matters, having participated in well over one hundred appeals, including appeals in all of the Texas courts of civil appeals, the Texas Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
John graduated from Wabash College in 1981 and from Southern Methodist School of Law in 1984, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served as an associate editor of the Southwestern Law Journal. Prior to joining Maloney, Bean, Horn & Hull, P.C., John was a shareholder at Cowles & Thompson, P.C., a senior attorney at Arco Oil & Gas Company, and a solo practitioner and mediator.
John is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts, the Northern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
